- International Research Seminar Research School Political History Transnational Histories: the Nation State
- The next International Research Seminar of the Research School Political History will take place in Maastricht on May 21st . Prof. dr. Kiran Patel will deliver a lecture on interactions between local, national and transnational history. Afterwards, three PhD candidates present their work in progress on the image of the national ‘other’ (Scheltiens), on the development of national identity in Amsterdam (Petterson) and on the ideas on European integration of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Netherlands (Garvert-Huijnen ). Three discussants provide comments on the presentations.
